Raul Nieves has studied Arquitectura Superior at ETSAB (Barcelona), Faculteit Bouwkunde (Delft), and ETSAM (Madrid). Pending to submit the final thesis. Has participated in international workshops (Murcutt, Pinós, Soriano) and worked at offices arround the world (SeARCH(NL), RandlesStraatveit(AUS)).
Since 2008 is studying CS at UPF and from 2009, has been involved in european and national projects in the field of technology-enhanced learning at the Interactive Technologies Group (GTI) at the UPF.
As part of blablabLAB, an artistic diy collective working with art and technology, has been involved in several workshops (Clarr, Waldemeyer, Posadas at Hangar; Oliver, Valbuena at Medialab Prado; Ramon Parramon at Arts Santa Monica), and exhibited in several emergent art centers in Barcelona and Madrid.
Interested mainly in low-hi tech pervasive systems and ubiquitous computing, as well as mixed reality design and digital fabrication, applied to pedagogical issues.
